Who we are
Ignite India' is a social enterprise started in 2016 in Kerala, and has operations across India. We are into personal and organizational capacity development and training, helping people and collectives to achieve meaningful success. Till now, we have completed more than 1800+ learning programs across 11 states in India.
What we do
We help develop the capacity of people to build on their skills and aptitudes for their personal growth and long-term success and progress of the community they belong to. We focus on Personal Transformation, Corporate Training, Leadership, Wellbeing, Team Building, Capacity Development and Leadership Journeys.

Our Story
India’s population is among the youngest in an ageing world. By 2022, the median age in India will be 28 years; in comparison, it will be 37 in China and the United States, 45 in Western Europe, and 49 in Japan. But there is a dearth of capable leaders in india who can take initiatives and have the passion to work for a sustainable, just and peaceful world.
When it comes to the skilled workforce, India is extremely low, at 4.69% of the total workforce, compared to 24% in China, 52% in the US, 68% in the UK, 75% in Germany, 80% in Japan, and 96% in South Korea. Studies are suggesting that less than 50% of youth graduating from educational institutions are employable.
People talk about a lack of a skilled workforce, but do they talk about the crisis in Leadership?
We at ‘The Ignite Foundation’ have taken this leadership gap among our youth on a serious note.
India still ranks behind in various development indices, and it will always be a mammoth task for any government to ensure the socio-economic, physical, and psychological well-being of 1.3 billion people.
We need young leaders who could collectively bring sustainable changes through innovative and entrepreneurial initiatives in our cities and villages.
We strongly believe that every individual, when provided with opportunities, exposure, guidance, and mentoring, can realize and achieve their true potential. Since 2016 we have been facilitating capacity development sessions for the youth from different educational institutions mainly in Kerala and 7 other states in India. Over the past 5 years, we have facilitated 1000+ capacity development programs and have engaged directly with more than two lakh young people.
We started as a collective of young people passionate about delivering capacity development and training sessions to youth. Ignite India was the name of the collective. At the same time, most of us were also engaged in other activities and contributed to this as our social responsibility without expecting any financial gains. However, by the end of 2019, a strong leadership team has emerged within the collective and has started working on the idea investing full time into it.
